the only problem for me tonight is goals and do we have enough of them in the false 9 setup
i don't think we can keep them out tonight and they have 1 very good forwards and neymar ? he is be the most annoying cheating person ever to play the game. the fake rolls and dives are a problem in and around the box and city will do well to cut them out

goals ? we need goals goals goals ? would love city to rip them apart and kill the game off in the first leg
it could happen if united took them apart and can they match the fitness and running power of city

it will be a test and lets not fear them. but lets have a right go and if we lose then the knowledge we are still in the tie with the home leg to come if we score

I agree but we do have players on the bench who are potential match winners.
Jesus, Sterling and Aguero have all scored at this level and will all have a part to play over the two legs i think.

If we approach this like we did against Real Madrid last season we will be fine.

Not confident at all. Only Kevin consistently performs in the Champions League. If PSG had one of Neymar or Mbappe available then I think we'd stand a reasonable chance. But I think both of them together will be too much for us. The pace of Mbappe will be very difficult for our defense to deal with. I can see us conceding 2 or 3 over the first 90 minutes. In prior seasons we may have been able to score that many ourselves. However, we've been weak offensively for some time and I think they will almost certainly outscore us over 180 minutes.

What I have found quite surprising playing against teams from France in recent seasons, is how poor their fitness levels seem to tail off during the final 20 minutes?

Haven't noticed that, but I have noticed that we win tons of games in the last twenty minutes.

Usually not three days after a cup final though.

Hopefully we set up with Zinchenko coming in to stifle Di Maria, Walker glued to Mbappé and make Neymar get through Stones and Dias.

The main thing is that we need to push up really high so Walker has enough space to deal with Mbappé and whoever is pinging balls over the top doesn't have time to get them perfect.

I think this will be quite like Madrid last season - the press will win it.

Agree with a lot of what you say but can't help but think this is a game for Cancelo. Ultimately as a defender he's better than Zinchenko. That's what we need against Di Maria.
