I know it's trite and unscientific but fucking hell, we are due a bit of luck in the Champions League.Your analysis is very good. Agree with everything you say. We need a bit of luck and based on history it’s in very short supply.
I think we will win it this year.
We just need to put our chances away.I think that was the best performance of the season so far. Hard working, right mindset, so so confident.
All that time pep was saying 'this team isn't ready to win the CL' ... We look the business compared to just a few seasons ago.
If that was a 2 leg knockout match against PSG, we'd be out of the competition.
Totally dominated PSG over both games yet if we had ended up on same points as them we'd be out on head to head results.
No team will stop us when we have our shooting boots on.
Its going to take a helping of luck for whatever team wins this years competition.

PSG can’t win the CL until one of two things:
- their front three decides they can be bothered to defend
- they change at least 2 of that front 3 for players that will
It’s so simple to attack them. Since they only have 3 players infront of the back 4 that are putting a shift in, their back 4 has to stay incredibly narrow otherwise we’d slice through the heart of them. So we keep Mahrez on the touch line and hit him with diagonals. Gets us into the final third with ease every time. There’s actually nothing they can do to stop it until the front 3 gets sorted.
And this is the bloke the scum are supposedly after to solve the problems that are manifestly there at PSG? Brilliant.

Deluded is the word that springs to mind. He was clearly in a different game to the one we were at. In reality probably more an attempt to deflect criticism from their own poor performance.
