Why don't you just ask him nicely ?
First house I bought was a terrace in the grove, I was lucky if I could park on the same street, pissed me of big time. I've never bought a house with out parking for 3 or 4 cars sinceBlueSniffer said:andyhinch said:This would be my option don't talk to my neighbours anyway.Coltrane said:...knock on his door...when he answers, punch him in the throat and tell him to keep his f'ing car out of the street...

I would knock on with the intention of being amicable and calm but i can get very heated quite easily (hence why im posting this on here to blow off some steam). I don't want to go upsetting people just yet as its the first house the mrs and I have bought.
BlueSniffer said:Just moved into a new house with a drive big enough for one car. We have two cars so we have one on the drive and one parked out front. Now, my neighbour also has two cars but a smaller drive so he parks half way onto my side of the house which means i have to struggle to parallel park to get my car outside the house. Sometimes he's parked that far across onto our side i have to leave my car further down the street. He does this so his car isn’t over his drive and his Mrs can come and go as she pleases.
He’s retired so hardly goes out except when we’re at work so his car is parked half way outside our house all day/night. The final straw came today, my dad came round while he was out so he parked upto the fence post. When my neighbour got back he had to park across his own drive. When my dad left, my neighbour must have come out of his house, pulled his car forward onto our side and gone back in.
To say i’m annoyed is an understatement, he must be able to see me and the Mrs struggling to park outside our house or has seen our cars parked down the street yet still parks half way outside our house just so his Mrs can get on and off their drive without him having to move his car!!
Anyone one had any similar problems with their neighbours and how have you dealt with it?
