Yes, was just trying to look at that. We usually park on Lord North Street, down the side of Vermillion. Anyone any ideas?

Grimshaw Ln is my chosen spot but towards the end of last season there was building work going on there and the bridge down towards your spot caused the road to close.

Not quite related but I noticed 3 cars had their driver side windows put through today. Not sure if someone had been on a robbing spree or if it was just vandalism There were 2 near the cemetery and another one further on.

Must have been robberies. If it were vandalism almost every car would have been done
I walked across Philips Park and came out at the bottom of the cemetery. I saw one car had been done there

Our spots were still available, hope you were ok to.

Noticed cars near the cemetery had been ticketed but they'd parked fully on the pavement. I was surprised that quite a lot had half parked on the pavement as well and these escaped being done

No extension on parking restrictions in parts of Clayton. I saw proposed plans on here but parked in my usual spot.

I had mine done on Clayton Lane outside the lads club. Had my dashcam nicked. Couldn’t believe it, I’d paid two quid to a young lad to mind my car

That’s probably why, they wanted 2 quid on moss side in the 90s

Any new parking restrictions near The Etihad are not due for a year or two yet.
As far as I am aware,the new parking restrictions in places like Briscoe Lane, Riverpark Road and Philips Park Road are not due to be in place until the new arena opens in late 2023.
So this season should be OK for parking,but be aware that the council could introduce new expanded parking zones for the following season,and we could all be forced to park alot further away from The Etihad.

Where I normally park off Grimshaw Lane will be in the new restrictions and it’s a good 20 - 25 minute walk to the ground already, just how far are we going to have to walk with the new restrictions ?

Looks like it’s being built on, already lost 2 car parks on that side of the ground in last 3/4 years, containers are stored on at least one! City really need to be on top of transport and parking, co op live visitors won’t keep coming back if there is chaos on public transport and scarce parking near by. And lots of fans are getting cheesed of with getting in and out of the area. That’s before you get to paying £10 just to park on some derelict land 10 mins walk from the stadium.

Sheik Mansour should just build a big three lane motorway direct from the Etihad to the outer ring road. That would fix the access problems. Then two multi story car parks to fix the parking.
