Is anyone else on here as passionless about England as me? (who's actually English) its wierd its like i want to show passion but i cant i think iv used it all up on city tbh i mean i couldn't even bring myself to cheer when we scored. I literally couldn't care less. All my mates were there proper cheering and singing but the only bit of passion i showed all game was to chant shauny's name when he came on.

strange, anyone else like me?

I'm the same. I really tried to get up for the game, but about half way through I realised I wasn't really bothered.

me too mate...all my nervousness and adrenalin used up on City. I hate to say it doesnt bother me at all. I dont want England to lose or anything, nor do I begrudge people who are well into it, thinking are wrong or deluded, it just does nowt for me anymore.

It used to...I was big into England at 1998 World Cup and even during Keegans reign. I think a lot of it had to do with the boring football served up by Sven, and its continued ever since.

How many more times are we going to play hoof it up to the big fella?
How many more "stars" are going to cry off playing for internationals then play for their clubs?
How many more major championships are going to see our "stars" knackered before we even start
How many more times will we pick, injured, injury prone players, names instead of form.

You can change the name of the coach, brolley man, dirty swede or Copoutello but the root of the problem remains. The players cant bring themselves to want it. Well you know what, its catching...

Maybe its a "if the players cant be arsed, than neither can I" type attitude. I wish I could get the "world in motion" feeling back but currently Im well away from it. Maybe it will change quickly if we start to play well. Will that make me fickle, possibly.

I must admit, now that the tournament has started, i'm not as pumped up as i thought i'd be. Wake me up when the group stage is over. BORING!

While everyone around me was jumping up and down celebrating when Gerrard scored, I just about managed to raise a smile and clap my hands.

Had City just scored the fifth against a team of bricklayers from Estonia in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, I'd have been jumping around like a possessed lunatic.

The levels of passion I have for these two teams are miles and miles apart. I really want England to do well, I just don't particularly care that much if they don't.

As Blues we are hardcore fanatics , whereas England fans tend to be more aligned with the plastic , nouveau variety of football supporting and l don't particularly like being a part of that .

l rapidly lost interest during the match and found myself talking all the way through it .

I haven`t missed an england game on tv since chile 62 and I have no intention of stopping till I die, come on england
