Good luck fellerSo I ordered my new passport on the 01/04/22 at the time they said it would be 4-6 weeks. I am going on holiday (well supposedly on the 4th of June)
I've spent all week trying to book and emergency appointment at Liverpool, Glasgow, Durham basically wherever there is a passport office.
Been on hold for countless hours but nobody seems able to help.
I've not been away for 3 years so was really looking forward to it.
But if I don't hear anything today it looks like I'm not going.
I keep getting promised i'll get called back and emails confirming they're aware and they'll be in touch soon.
Anyone else been in a similar situation?

Just got my daughters 2 weeks after we sent the application off. My sister in law has been waiting for 2 months and still not received it

Same with me. Sent off my renewal on 29th April and received my new one on 12th May. No fussMy other half just got hers back 2 weeks after sending it off. No mither at all to be fair

We've just done both of ours, had pics taken at a professional photographers, who uploaded them to the passport office website, filled in the forms online, sent old passports back, and all done in under 2 weeks.My other half just got hers back 2 weeks after sending it off. Unbelievable scenes. Got a call yesterday to say it has arrived!
I'm off to Spain tonight (assuming I can get through security/ my flight then doesn't get cancelled and they don't lose my baggage ahah)
