Passport fast track

Her sister went to Peterborough and got her passport same day.

Hope u get it mate.

Wife sent herself off a week ago online, we fly on the 15th of July. What do you do if you don't get it back. She tried fast track but couldn't get an appointment slot online.

its says you cant just turn up without an appointment. She rang and they said just keep by your computer and refresh, you can't do that all day, so She sent it off. Just fingers crossed.
 
As I posted about 3 week ago, did it normally online for both of us.

All sorted inside 2 weeks, was very impressed, and I'm rarely impressed by civil servants, despite being one myself.
 
Sorted my old Dad's out. He managed to do it online. All done and new passport within 3 weeks.
All this fuss about the Passport Office being fucked and the need to privatise it etc, nonsense. Boris and Jacob being twats. It was no drama at all. Neither is DVLA.
They are lining up civil servants as scapegoats for stuff again. Dont believe the hype
 
Having spent 20 years as a civil servant prior to my retirement last year I can confirm just like every other work place their are lots of hard workers & some lazy unless c###s

Not quite 'recently' but I renewed all my kids passports in April and had them in my possession within about a week of applying. A couple of days of that was fannying about trying to get them to accept the photos aswell.

Not really relevant to anything but how much of rip off is charging 2/3rds of the price for 50% of validity for kids?

If you just do the normal route, it’s within three weeks, which is a shedload better than it was a few years ago. If you’re lucky, you’ll get it within a week or two.

If you need it quickly, don’t want to risk it and are willing to pay more for it, you can do the one week or the two day option.
