Peter Schmeichel. He was a useless **** when he played for then but he weren’t all that bad for us.
We would still be there.Even if it was just for that goal against Millwall away …the look on the faces of those cockney wankers was a picture to behold. If memory serves me well he nearly bagged all 3 points as well, fuck knows how long dibble would have kept us in that shithole had he done so.
I think most younger blues rated Nellie, but the old codgers were forever saying:"Not a patch on Peter Doherty."Neil Young
Steady on, you'll be citing John Macken next!Puts Tin foil and hard hat on.
Lee Bradbury
We would still be there.
Utter cnut of a human but what an incredible keeper and professional, with us he was well past his best but still high quality.Peter Schmeichel. He was a useless **** when he played for then but he weren’t all that bad for us.

For this alone he has my utter most respect.
Neil was one of the most important players ever to play for City.I think most younger blues rated Nellie, but the old codgers were forever saying:"Not a patch on Peter Doherty."
Only a little bit. That goal he got v Spurs after about 14 seconds from kick off was right in the corner just beneath we FOCs in CBL3. Not had a match day experience to equal it since! I'm missing Joe Hayes.Thought this might be a fun counter-balance to the other thread. I'll start with one:
Jesus Navas.
Yeah he was a bit rubbish, but I always liked him. He came to us despite crippling homesickness, always gave his absolute best, was passionate and worked as hard as anyone. Very pleased to see him doing well for Sevilla.
You could also add your favourite moments from the player you chose- for me it'd be him hyping up the City fans at Wembley after scoring his penalty in the shootout vs Liverpool in 2016.
