He had a stellar career at Bayern after he’d been with City.

Would not say stellar career - but he was decent - ok but not top. He was not first choice anymore when Bayern really got successful again in 2012. We always called him "the most expensive interpreter of all time" as in the last seasons he was the translator and best friend for Ribery and more a guy that was good for the dressing room climate and that was relieable when he came in.
