I think that is Bennacer, not Roberts. Could be wrong though. As far as I know Roberts did travel with Fulham to Portugal for their training camp.

Yeah but if he plays for your 2nd team he gets coached by old boys network neanderthals who will teach him to sit back and defend for most of the game then leg it, and purely be after results over football intelligence, then if he gets in your first team squad, he gets Brendan.

Like most borderline Liverpool 'fans' he will be most likely choose City for the future. There will be truckloads of academy players coming through at City btw, it's just that the best ones have been too young & we haven't been in the position to risk it, with a bunch of clubs courting Platini to try & stitch us up. We need quick success in order to fight back.

The academy isn't there for show, it's key to the long term plan of Sheikh Mansour.

If Roberts is good enough he'll play for City, if not, we will find him a club that suits him.

That's not a bad shout TBH but I think Roberts has got a bit more of a chin than Bennacer although that's not basing an opinion on much either.
