I think B Silva will be used more in the CM spot than RW spot.

It's kind of negative to think of him as the 6th of 6, which is the wrong way of thinking about it. It's more like this:

Sane/Sanchez-------------Jesus/Aguero--------------Sterling/Roberts

Him and sterling will rotate on the RW, which is easy to convince him of.

If we do loan him out then I don't want him going to Huddersfield, as I mentioned in my above posts, the evidence of this season shows a very high chance of Huddersfield getting relegated. Don't want him at a struggling team.

it's not negative it's the blindingly obvious reality.

Aguero, Jesus, Sanchez, Sterling, Sané...Roberts.

There's a clear odd one out, and it's Roberts.

On top of that, yes, Bernardo Silva will probably primarily be used centrally, but he will also play wide, as he said himself. And Pep would play Berardo Silva on the RW ahead of Roberts unless KDB or Silva were injured. Actually, in that scenario he might still prefer Bernardo on the wing with Gundogan replacing KDB or Silva.

And the whole Sterling/Roberts can share the RW, while Sané and Sanchez share the LW thing is obviously rubbish too, sorry but it is.

We know it's a fluid front 3, which means Sané, Sterling or Sanchez could all be nominally on the right wing, you know this, so why pretend like he's going to be put in a box where the only competition is Sterling?

Pep would pick Silva out on the right over Roberts every single time, let's not pretend otherwise. Silva himself that Pep plans to use him there.
And what if he plays both? As I said earlier Pep has mentioned wanting 2 in each spot, in the CM I think its 2x Silva, Kev and Gund.

I can never see Sanchez on the RW.

I can never see Sanchez on the RW.

Really? You can never see Sanchez playing the position he played 50-odd times for Pep at Barcelona?

If that's the one thing you took away from that comment too, I think it says everything.

He's clearly changed to being a LW or ST since his time at Arsenal, it suits him more as he has a bigger impact there.

I already mentioned that it has been said by someone close to Pep he wants 2 players in each spot, your "fluid front 3" argument is then clearly wrong based on that.

We will not agree here, because I'm arguing for 2 in each spot, and you are saying you don't want that.

He's moved clubs and played a position where it suited them best, he can easily move back onto the right if it suits us best by having Jesus, Aguero and Sanchez on the same pitch for example.

Your next sentence doesn't particularly make sense, the journalist Marti Perarnau said he wanted 6 forwards for 3 positions. As that seems to be the basis for your entire argument, you probably remember he also said we were looking to sign Sanchez and A.N. Other, so if you want to go by that interview and treat it as Gospel than Roberts clearly isn't in the plans anyway and he's definitely going on loan.

"I already mentioned that is has been said by someone CLOSE to Pep he wants 2 players in each spot" I never said Pep said, but someone close to him, which is Marti Perarnau.

My understanding from the interview was that he mentioned another forward, not alexis AND another forward. If that is the case then I'll agree Roberts isn't in the plans. I am too lazy to check the interview to see what he actually said but I'll just believe you on this.

Regardless of whether Patrick will play a role in our team, It would just disappoint me if he wasn't given a chance. I don't remember who mentioned, but someone said that at some point you have to see a progression for these loanees that they can make it at City.

I'd just like to see it go somewhere, because I have doubts about our youth kids making it in general if being very impressive on loan doesn't translate to getting a chance.
