Paul Gascoigne - terrible waste

Kdb is nothing like Gascoigne lol. Nor is silva, he's small I guess? Maradona was more like Gascoigne. Small, stocky, powerful, dribbling skills,
I meant in what they could/can do, as both Kevin and Merlin did/do their fair share of defending and winning the ball back, which is what our fishy friend was alluding to.

I don't think he said they were like Gazza but could do all that Gazza could do, subtle difference.

Silva had close control and dribbling skills, could make every pass you could imagine.

Kdb, drives forward with such skill and has dribbling ability and can pass and shoot.

Hell, they're no Pogba though, never mind Gazza (and I liked Gazza btw)

Is it a reasonable guess that he was wired up on cocaine at the 91 FA Cup final, observing his crazed behaviour early on in the match?
Coke was around the game at that time (McAvennie for example) but it was a bit later when it became widely known.

You’re spouting more bollocks.

I can think of two players that could/can do everything that you claim the Geordie wastrel could do, without even having to look further than the team I support.

David "Merlin" Silva and Kevin de Bruyne.

Gascoinge was not unique in that respect.
If you combine the two of them then maybe they could.

He was a dab hand with the stiff yard brush.

edit, haha you edited it as I quoted you :)

I thought I remembered him as sweeper for Chelsea, did a quick look at Wiki & thought I was wrong, only to look again and I was right he was player manager. Doh!

I wondered why you'd changed it as I thought he was a sweeper at Swindon and then Chelsea.

I know a player who was at Boro at the same time as Gazza & he tells an interesting story of when he stopped at Gazza's flat after a night out in Darlington. Certainly involved cocaine, Gazza & an Irish international who is quite often a co commentator these days.
