don't remember him as a player , but used to enjoy reading his stuff in the paper, was he ever on the radio with james h reeves ?

Think he did come on the Saturday sports show as an occasional guest on Piccadilly radio.

Bit before my time to see him in sky blue but remember his reporting. Think he was the first person I remember being city reporter. Worked with his daughter for a brief time in the 90’s. He was city mad.
