What a complete dickhead he was, totally obsessed with the city phone inns all though perpetrating to be a Leeds fan.

I had a theory that he had been beaten up by a few city fans and developed a pathological hatred off City; (if it did happen he probably deserved it ). I can imagine him being one of those blokes that gets sparked out in the boozer regular after winding people up.

Stannage was a teacher at Tommy More one time or another. Anyone get taught by him? His late nights on 1152 were a joy to listen to when i was 13/14 haha!
 
Knew him quite well (through a journalist friend) -complete fuckin lunatic.
Used to pop up on TV debate shows all the time in the crowd.

Ended up at a derby at Maine Road with him and hurled turkish delights at the rags after they'd just lost to Galatasaray.

Closet Leeds fan.
