Extends right into North Wales too, I remember my young cousins having a really lovely, quaint and soft Welsh accent, didn’t see them for years, when we met up, fuck me, it was some horrible Welsh/scouse hybrid monstrosity.They’re similar but I don’t think Paul had a Liverpool accent. You’ll hear a slight Scouse twang in places like Ellesmere Port but the Wirral is not Liverpool. Most definitely not.
