It's shite that we've allowed them to get him after last summer when it was being made out he was nailed on to come here. All the posturing about money means fuck all when the club buying can easily afford him. He automatically improves their team 10 fold in a position we were crying out for somebody like him.
I don't think they will win the league but I do believe they'll finish in the top 4 which is the important thing seeing as their sponsorship money would have been severely affected if they missed out again.
I get that Pep might not have wanted him and I get that the agents fee is ridiculous but the average nan on the street supporting his team doesn't really give a fuck about that.

I'm more annoyed that once again we've neglected the weakest areas in our squad and are going top heavy when it's our midfield and defence that continually gets battered by better sides.

100 million might not be anything for the average nan mate but it is to the owners/sponsors. Its not like we can spend 300 million, can we? We have seen more value in those 100 million+20 million being spent on 4-5 other players.

Surely then your not saying we should have gone for him just to stop them getting him. Yes he improves them but Pep will improve us more.
