He would improve that shower a lot more than he would us so I'm hoping it doesn't happen.
If that's their opening bid though I expect a deal to be made after several million is added.
Come on Woody - do what you do best and make a mess of any negotiations.

We only ever put a bid in for players once we have agreed personal terms with the player apparently, what makes the rags different to this?

I'm sure they wont start offering over €100million euro for the player to turn around and say he isn't interested. Or maybe the Sky reports are complete bull and no meeting or bid will take place.

Either way there is something happening with Pogba and the Rags, I would get the Mach 3 at the ready just incase.
 
You have to get permission from the selling club to even talk to the player (in theory!) - so it stands to reason you're going to talk to him before putting in a bid, after that, I would imagine things work in parallel - you'd start talking with the selling club and the player at the same time. I'd expect sometimes, the player must be aware that the overall 'deal' is a combination of his wages and his fee, with the buying club trying to balance the two. No point agreeing to pay a player 10m a year if the fee is 10m more than you want to pay, so surely the two figures go through a number of iterations?
 
Come on rags please get Pogba for a world record fee!
What a team. What a bunch of likeable fellows with Moe, ROoooney, Schweinsteiger and God Ibra...
Already sounds to me a bit like Cosmos New York in the 70s.
