Why doesn't he just ditch his sodding agent and tell the rags to Fuck off?
 
Perhaps Raiola has played a very clever game with Utd?

Look you put through your transfers through me, and I'll construct a deal for Pogba. So Utd put deals through for his players (Mkhitaryan and Ibra) bringing in millions in fees for Raiola and in the meantime he sets up a personal package for Pogba which Utd agree to, with Raioloa knowing all along his client Pogba has no intention of signing for Utd? It's a theory.

In previous seasons Woodward didn't seem able to deal with the transfers. This season he seems to be putting his trust in a super agent to get the deals done, but these people look after themselves and their clients first.

Entertaining if true. Would it not risk his ability to do business in the future though ?

Raiola has always been about screwing clubs over and getting the best deal for his players. Because of that he'll always have a great stable of players so clubs will have to deal with him. It's how all the top agents work in all sports. In baseball, the agent Scott Boras is universally despised by clubs, but he has all the players so everyone has to just put up with him
 
I still can't see him going anywhere else but Madrid they need a new galactico, Zinadene is there its a no brainer for me.
 
I haven't followed things with Pogba on here for a while - assume the united links remain just paper talk and it's still unlikely.

Many people are saying he's not worth £100m plus. They're correct. But don't write him off because of the Euro's. I don't believe his performances in that were the real him. Deschamps had an abundance of talent available and similarly as Hodgson didn't quite get the balance correct at times, mixing and matching and not knowing quite what his best 11 was. Pogba seemed to be sacrificed in terms of his attacking threat - he was asked to do more of a deep lying playmaker role and that's not him.

He's better off given licence to roam - use his pace and power to charge forward. I think he was held back somewhat. The potential is still there. Yaya's application has been criticised and I believe Pogba might have the same issues. I don't want Pogba, not for the numbers mentioned, I'd much prefer Kroos who was just outstanding. That's probably unrealistic too but him going to the rags would definitely give them an extra edge in midfield that they've lacked for years now.
 
Has Raiola mentioned it's not about the 'financial aspect' recently? I would have thought he would be at great pains to stress this given all the news. Maybe how the rags are an 'interesting project'?

Watched seria A for me job he's a big Fish in a small pond.

Let them splash £100m plus whatever in wages.....they could spend that money on 2 class replacements which would dramatically improve the midfield. It will or it won't happen but the fact this is dragging on is not allowing them to get the signings in place if he chooses Madrid or stays at Juve.

I have seen him play a few times and I ain't impressed at all. He was totally ineffective against Portugal, a game that a so called £100m player should have controlled, especially as ronaldo went off injured.

Pep knows what he wants, he as probably advised that Pogba is Definately not worth anywhere near that amount, and the money can be better spent elsewhere
 
Two things are true about PP, (1) he is a very good footballer and (2) he is worth nowhere near £100M. So IF he goes back to the swamp it is probably medium news - with the laughability factor that the clueless cunts let him go for no pounds a few years ago, that's a gap of one hundred and five million pounds only, enjoy writing that cheque ed and make sure you show it to alex before posting it
 
I've never seen him take control of a match in a way you would expect a £100m signing to. So I'm not bothered if the Rags get him, especially as it means they can never attempt to gain the moral high ground about "buying success" again.
