The rags remind me of the Harry Enfield character 'loadsamoney', telling everyone how much cash they've got but not actually doing anything productive with it. Their transfer policy still makes me giggle.

They bought the Premier League tye first time they won it & carried on buying it. Nothing will change. They are full of shit.

You can't trust anything these characters say though. One way or the other, from one day to the next. Snakes.

In Pep's book it describes how they met him, agreed to sign him, then denied all knowledge of it ever having happened.
 
I think I want to believe he will go to Madrid because the smugness from my rag mates would be unbearable but Madrid don't seem to be making much noise? I thought they usually declare who will be their shiny new toy at the start of the summer, with little regard for the selling club. Would surprise me if their president's ego could take another club smashing the transfer record. Have they signed anyone yet apart from buying back Morata?

I think its suddenly dawning on the rags that there is a reason no other club is going in for him haha.
He would be a great buy around just around 65-70 mill but no more

Most of us want him to go to Madrid just to shut the Rag idiots up - and to wait for the " didn't want him anyway " posts.

When you have sponsors that act like money trees and a financial structure FFP seems designed to avoid, the fee isn't the issue. He will improve the team and win them points and I can't bring myself to laugh about it. Wish he stays or Madrid are bluffing.

Would be nice if we made some big signings.

Pogba is the type of character that is about money. You only have to look at his haircuts, his fancy party holidays with Lukaku and co, his stupid dab celebrations, he is the epitomy of a mercenary.

There is too much money on the table to refuse and that's from both parties. Player, club and agent getting an absolute fortune. Juve and agent Raiola have now officially priced Pogba out of a move of ever joining Madrid, they will never pay that kind of money and I am sure Juve know that. He is United bound, writing is on the wall.

If you dont think Utd are not title challengers then your being very naive. They haven't just bought good players, but they are buying personalities as well with a winning mentality. Mkhitaryan and Ibra are quality signings.

Does his ability go down then when someone pays more for him? Not unless he gets stressed by the fee. Who cares about how much a player costs in the transfer mkt. The owners might, but fans do not - only when it's someone else's club

Then we will have to agree to disagree. I would be interested to see what you think will be their title winning team, as I could only see one or two of them warranting a starting berth for us, arsenal or the chavs. Not being funny, but please list their title winning team
