Paul Pogba

Somebody somewhere is making a fortune from all the fanny wipes they're selling at the moment.

Fellaini/Rooney/Pogba, better than Gundogan/Nasri/KDB?

The ONLY player that can be claimed superior in that list is Pogba over Nasri.

KDB is by far and away a far more complete player than any of them, Gundogan shits over faillani from a skydiving plane....Rooney is just shit and not even worth a mention.

If deal between the clubs is agreed, who pays the agent and player fees? I've read they could be 20% making around £20m. That's an incredible figure. Is it Utd or Juve who have to pay that? Could be a deal-breaker.

Adding up the cost of this deal that's £100m fee, £20m possibly due to the player agent, and then there's the wages of a rumoured £200,000 per week after tax. The cost to Utd will be around £175m.

I don't think any club apart from maybe Real madrid have the revenues to justify that outlay.

Some people are kidding themselves on here, he's a very decent player. He will improve their first team, unfortunately.

Marvin, us & Madrid can easily afford him in financial terms, we and Madrid have walked away from it because he simply isn't worth the money.

United are fucking desperate signing him for that money and that's the truth of it.

Sane, Gundogan and Stones for £110 million or Pogba for £100m ?

Dont forget that the rags are in knee jerk reaction mode.... they will throw money at the present situation and hope that it works... it's a band aid

I hate the fact that the press conveniently ignore the fact that the GPC let this kid walk because he called his bluff and fucked it up.... we need to remind our rag cousins and the media at every opportunity if he does go back to the swamp

The agent usually gets paid twice, from both clubs, if they have brought the two together.

Third-party ownership is illegal in Britain, so United would have to pay £100m plus to Juventus and then on top of that 25 per cent of the total fee to Mino, to end his economic rights, which will be about £22m.

In addition, a player would usually expect about £10m signing-on fee for such a huge transfer fee.

It would not surprise me if Pogba would make £20m cash overnight, with Mino kicking back some of his own money.

As stated previously, it's a very shady set of circumstances, especially so, if you consider Mino has already taken United for £10m for Ibrahimovic and Mikityryan.

He can well afford to sweeten the deal and Pogba's mind.

In addition to £300,000 a week wages over five years, Pogba's entire deal comes in at over £200m.

It's the money United were hoping they would use one day for Ronaldo or Neymar.

Pogba is neither!

one man doesnt make a team, yes hes a star in the making potentially but figures quoted for Pogs are just ridiculous, for his fee we could quite easily have gundogan, stones and leeroy!

My maths isnt great but im sure 3 is better than 1!

If he does go...which I am still 99% certain he won't...It will be purely an agent move...nothing else...the lad wants Madrid

Which is a sad state of affairs

Are we going to wait until he's officially a rag before locking this thread ? Strikes me keeping it open just gives more oxygen to the under covers hiding in plain sight on Bluemoon.

He can't have Madrid, however, if they can't bring the money up to an acceptable level for Juventus.

The agent is bound to drive the deal, as Sterling's did last year.

For my own part, there are still a few twists in the plot, having witnessed in recent years the almost hysteric positive reinforcement which accompanied the supposed done deals for Sneijder, Thiago, Vidal and Ramos.

None of them which were even close to the reports that accompanied them.

In your opinion how likely is Pogba to the rags? more than 50%?

It's changed to realism, because it's the rags.

Almost every player we are linked with, or those desired by various posters, become godlike talents wheras our own squad becomes largely a bunch of no marks by comparison.

You only have to read the delusion in the Otamendi thread, compared to the player we were actually signing & the bollocks about Kroos now. That was the case with Pogba, wildly overrated.

But he would imo be a very good signing for us & might one day become the player people think he is now. Not worth the money though.
So accurate mate, well said.

If he goes there he should insist on a 3 year contract and he runs it down leaves to Madrid for fuck all! Now that would be revenge.
