maybe i'm being thick here,
but the longer this transfer drags the greater my conviction that pogba and his agent are spectacularly having the rags on.

it can't possibly be edwoodwoodwood delaying it,
surely he wants to get it nailed asap to get his signature on the first £100m contract,
(i doubt he actually even gives a fuck about the rags)
he's always triping on about how much money he can spend,
he'd pay almost anything to get this done.

that being the case,
the only assumption possible is that it is pogba's end that are delaying things.

they're out&out taking the piss via social media.

i cannot think of one valid reason why he would go back there.
it's a shitpit full of tossers, piss and bollox.

i may be delusional, but i remain convinced he isn't going to the swamp.

340 pages and i am none the wiser with whats going on. Is he going to Madrid or United? I guess his agent is trying to squeeze as much pennies as he can out of whoever gets his signature
 
This drags on and on however there is no sign of Real Madrid biting either.

My guess is that Pogba went into this knowing that the rags had slapped down as much cash as anyone ever would and it was now or never to flush out the Spanish teams or join the rags! I think he is going to be a rags player by the end of the week on a ridiculous wage! (Unless RM are very quietly sniffing about!)
 
He and his agent did this to us last time around - always just one more niggle. With us it was the image rights (supposedly given away as a 'gift' to someone, and we needed to spend additional money to buy them back from the rights owner), plus all the flirting with RM too.

It does sound like he will end up at United eventually, but it's still bearing similar hallmarks to our experience. I just can't believe he sees United as his final destination.
Now that's not to say all of our players see us as their final destination either, but most of them realise they aren't going to get to Barca or RM right now. With Pogba it feels very different - as though he already SHOULD be there, but ends up at United due to poor timing and the sheer amount of money involved.

I can see discontent looming very rapidly for Mr Pogba.

Yeah, I agree. Bet he can't wait to play in the europa league on a thursday night!!! Seems to me he's taking a 3 steps back in his career.

OK. being serious for a moment. I know he has been on hols (might still be on them too), but if he were signing for the rags, when would be the earliest time he could do it? It just seems strange that he hasn't done it already, even being on hols.

If I were recruiting him - 'on holiday' would be risk in my eyes. The deal isn't done until he's signed, and if need be, I'd be booking a facility and travelling out with the paperwork myself to get the deal done. I'd also be expecting him to show some bloody willing, but being a pampered footballer, I suppose you have to pander to them a little.

Still, it's a 100m deal - I'd be very worried if his holiday took priority.

Agreed, wonder what woody et al are making of all this?
My boss is a rag and I couldn't think of anything better than taking the piss if this goes pear shaped. I still take the piss anyway :)
 
Daily mirror getting slightly twitchy now he's turned up in new York.
The lads just playing games knowing real are in town until Thursday
You have to wonder is he desperately chasing Madrid
