Like I already stated, I don't rate Pogba anywhere near Gerrards level so 120M plus 15M wages a season is good news for us. It means they've spent up and their still nowhere near the finished article.

Hate those rags and hate them even more now!;) Whether you question the fee or not.... They wanted him and they got him and they making a statement in the process! If he was coming here, I wouldnt be questioning the transfer fee as not my money, so cant change that view just because the rags signing him....Apart of me wishes we'd do the same for a Kroos type signing.....Just do whatever it takes to get your man! One of the biggest names in football going to the rags?....not the news I wanted to hear this transfer window, especially when we seem to be struggling to sign one of our main summer targets, at the moment..
It's been public knowledge for many weeks that I signed up again a few months ago, mainly because it was the only place I could discuss Game of Thrones without being hounded by book readers who insisted the show had gone to shit. The mods know - one definitely does - so it's all fine.
I think it might be a good idea to erm, avoid the football discussion.

They play in different positions, it's like saying having a bet on gundogan getting more goals than martial. In a world where Andy Carroll cost 35 million 6 years ago and we paid 50 million for sterling, I don't think we can laugh to much. Well maybe a bit, considering they let him go for free.

How is any of this 'good news to us'? It's not being a flapper but conceding that they've bought in a top, top player that we've wanted for a couple of years. You can't talk about the fact that he 'isn't the finished article' when most of our signings can be described as such. I get that we all like to make ourselves feel good and undermine every they do but being naive isn't the way. Saying that, I think we still have the better squad in general.
