£90 million for a player who's nowhere near the best in the league? Hmmm.

Also, after breaking the world transfer fee record, if Mourinho doesn't win the league it's a failure. Complete and utter failure. Lot of pressure on a manager who had a complete meltdown last season and got sacked.

Is it now ok to express concern about our rivals strenghening, only last night anyone who did got the usual insults and free pack of "fanny wipes". Unfortunatley this is a very good signing for them, even at that price.
Adding Pogba is a huge boost for them though. The cost doesn't matter to them when they've got chevrolet pumping hundreds of millions into them. I can't see them challenging for the title with Zlatan up front. He is just too static, but his height is going to cause problems. They must be top 4 challengers now. They weren't before. Next season promises to be tremendously competitive. Liverpool are a threat too because they aren't in Europe and they now know exactly what Klopp wants from them and will have been trained now to play as he wants.

Please can everyone saying they are paying way too much as I see the price is already falling, 100 mill down to 90, it now stands at 83 million, by close of play today he will be the latest Academy player who was merely on loan to develop him as a player.

To quote Nigel Pearson are we all still ostriches in this thread or is there any perspective that them red twats are getting a great talent?

He is fucking shite until He scores 20 goals 20 assists and wins the league single handed thats what the scum should expect for 120m

Don't think he's worth that kind of money but to use a phrase that is thrown around on here a lot it's not United fans money so why should they care? I can only really see him playing deeper for them as he isn't going to drop Rooney and i don't think he's anywhere near as effective as one of the 2 central midfielders but there's no doubting he is a fantastic signing for United. He should be signing for a better club, they can't even offer champions league football so for them to get him is huge.
It's impossible to compare value when you have Everton asking for £125m for Stones and Lukaku.

Of course it's a great buy for Utd. I wouldn't say it puts them in contention for the title because for me Ibrahimovic is too static and makes them easy to defend against. I think they might struggle to open teams up.
