Paul Pogba

There's a simple fix. Don't follow him on Insta. If Pogba's anything like me, he uses social media as a distraction to give his head a rest.

Anyway, I've just looked at his Insta account & he's not exactly prolific. He's posts way more about matches, training & his family than he does him messing about & dancing.

Unless you count trying to kick the ball into a basketball hoop after training, or using a strengthening band to music during training as him not being as upset/frustrated/angry as he should be. :-|

These were some of his more indicative posts I found...

I’m not even on Instagram! I was merely suggesting where his reputation comes from. That and him looking half arsed on the pitch.

In response to how could City be stopped, he actually said I hope they get injuries to key players like we have. Key injuries is what's stopped us competing with them.

Yes, he could have phrased it better, or not even said it at all, but who on this forum can honestly say they not wished a key player cried off injured before we played them? I recall wanting Salah to have an uncontrollable bouts of the shits before we played them, but I didn't want it to be season or career ending, nor did I want him dead! :-|

On this very forum, we had City fans hoping Casemiro & Alaba wouldn't recover from injury in time to play against us. It's just the way competitors minds work. It doesn't make it right, but it is what it is.
Don’t forget Alan Shearer wanting our boys to be taken out, and he is supposed to an independent pundit without an interest in the outcome of games paid by the watching viewer!

If someone offered you £80m for free. would that also be an insult ? the guys a world cup winner - cant be that shit. on a free he costs us next to nothing. its well worth a punt. if not ship him off in a years time for a few ££££ in the bank. we still need to run as a sound business as well as on the pitch
Didn’t work for the rags when they paid £40m for an £80m asset in the form of Donny van Der Beek.

I have extreme difficulty believing we’re genuinely interested, and it’s not entirely because I think he isn’t good enough for us. When was the last time the club briefed a bunch of journalists that we’re interested in signing a particular player like this? It just doesn’t happen, so something smells rotten. The fact that he shares the same agent as Haaland leads me to believe that we’re just willingly helping out another of their client’s negotiating position. That’s the only reason I can think of to brief something like this to the media. Just doesn’t feel right to me.

The mere thought of us signing this **** and letting Bernardo leave seriously makes me contemplate life

What do you mean by "letting" him leave? It's pretty obvs we want to keep him and there'll be a great deal on the table for him. I don't think it's in anyone's interest to force him to stay if he wants to move on. He's a smart cultured guy who has won everything there is to win in England. He seems like he's made the most of his time in Manchester and enjoyed his time in the city. A footballer's career is short and I can get why he would want to have a go at playing at a different prestigious club in another European city. If he wants to go and we can't persuade him to stay then he should leave on good terms and in a way that maximises the outcome for all parties.

What are you actually basing that on?
Consistently missing matches when they’re starting to do poorly in a season. Doing multiple interviews with the media through himself or his agent openly discussing leaving whilst still at the club.

Simply not the type of player I would want at city, and since Yaya not the type of player we have signed.
