Paul Pogba

If he's so shit, can't defend, can't deal with being pressed etc. then Pep wouldn't have been interested in 2016 and he won't be interested now, so what are you worried about?

This is something I'll never understand in all these transfer threads. It's always full of people who are worried about someone not being a Pep player, or not being able to do what Pep needs.

How many times has Pep been wrong in the transfer market?

Literally didn't say I was even remotely worried about it? Just said I don't think he's a good 6. Helluva leap there. Either way, clearly not gonna sign Pogba IMO.

He can't defend, and he's really bad at being pressed...is he really a good 6 option? Would be miles off even old man Ferna in that role now IMO. At international level with loads of time on the ball? Sure, but not in the PL.

Yes but what about all those millions of instatweetfollows and global brand recognition value that he brings.

Well take it up with @Zin 'messiah' Zimmer then, not me!

I've not said the rumour is true or not, I don't care because if it is true, I know the transfer will work out well, and if it's not true there's no need to worry.
I’d be shocked if we were chasing Poobag, I don’t think he has the mentality or maturity to play in a Pep side.
However, if we were to get him then I’d know that Pep thinks he can get a tune out of the lazy poser - and if Pep thinks he can do it he can do it.

its not a tune we would need out of pogbad it would have to be a whole fucking Album, and a worlwide concert tour big enough for Tolmie to post a youtube video !!

United payed that money for him due to how he played at Juve, at Juve he was unplayable, an incredibly gifted goal scoring and creative midfielder.

United made one massive mistake, at Juve there was Pirlo and Marchisio. Two amazing midfielders, Marchisio/Vidal was there to do the dirty work so pogba and Pirlo could shine, Pirlo the veteran would guide pogba meaning Pogba could show the talent he had without the pressure

United on the other hand were levels below that Juve midfield and are still levels below that midfield. Pogba has played LW, CDM, CM, Striker, CAM at United no wonder he doesn't know his position and complains in interviews.

Where as at France he's a CM that's it no other position.

At France he has what he had at Juve, Kante the player that will do the dirty work and now Tchouameni who will continue to do that and a fixed position that's why France get a completely different pogba to united.

If Pep wants him at City he probably thinks he can get the Juve Pogba back. Problem is everyone works hard in our midfield so he couldn't just coast and let Rodri do all the dirty work like Kante does.

Everyone works hard in City's midfield so Pogba would also have to work hard off the ball. It would be hilarious after all this talk from united fans saying we need to "unlock pogba" he comes to City and becomes a incredible midfielder and puts up the numbers they wanted him to.

Haha, dom ffs

I know your like all too well (:

Who cares, if he were to sign then it’s obviously on the premise of seeing something more than some Internet expert!

I would not be against signing pogba on a free. We do need cover in midfield. Kev, Gundo, Fern miss plenty of games so another body would be helpful. Dealing with Mino for Haaland might require us to sweeten the pot by adding in pogba.

It is a gamble that city can afford to take. If he returns to form and knows his role we might see a different player. Not a fan of his off field antics but it might be a good shout with very little risk.
