You'd like to think, if there's is any doubt, that we'd be told how often he was tested during his premier league career, presumably without incident.

According to records he missed a staggering 597 days due to injuries whilst on his second spell at rag town, 294 of which were due to 'ankle' injuries.

He was back in England for 6 years, so spent roughly 30% of that time injured. He may just be pretty unfortunate, but id sure be looking in to those if I had such responsibilities.
