Carlisle today sacked their Manager Keith Millen and reappointed Simmo as Manager until the end of the season.
Desperate times but it is the board that needs to fuck off imo and some weird billionaire that is hanging around and loaning the club money but not doing much else, former owner of the now bankrupt Edingburgh Woolen Mill, Phillip Day.

Nobody is sure what his game is.

Simmo will be a popular appointment and did very well the last time Carlisle were in the shit, appointed too late and went down fighting but came back up out of the conference first time and then promoted again, left for bitter enemies PNE

Fingers crossed he can turn them around, one of my boys is a season ticket holder.

Couldn't agree more. Seems that the club is run on a shoestring and continually dependent on loan players. Simmo has a big job on to keep them up IMO.

Brings back memories of seeing his debut in the early 80s, home to Coventry - he was really young but went on a couple of great runs, evading tackles, as I remember.

It wasn't a great time to break into City's team, though - the club was up & down like a yoyo.
