Paulo Dybala

a reliable Italian journalist has stated that Dybala's contract doesn't have a release clause. it was a fake rumor apparently. Juventus will probably demand more than 65 mill if we go in for him. Icardi would be a much better option with ability and price in mind.

Dybala' s Agent and Juventus Executives have been recently discussing proposals for a new contract. Dybala would get paid more €€€€. An extension of 1 further year to 2021. A possible buy out clause has been discussed of €150m but Juventus are in no hurry to sell and think they could get more if they hold on to him until after the World Cup in Russian 2018. As they are predicting he could be the Player of the touxrnament.

Dybala does not have a buy out clause at present. If they sold him this summer don't expect any change from €90m. Personally I would not pay that for him. China could be calling but surely he wouldn't!

So its impossible to compare two players from different league? Glad your not a scout for City.

It's clearly not impossible but given the contexts I've provided above it's not a great way to compare players.

Especially when you are cherry picking and comparing it to something that happened 6 years ago.

If Aguero gets replaced this summer it 100% needs to be by someone who is as good if not better than him, not someone who, via this prism of 'maybe' you're using, might end up as good as him.

The Hart-Bravo scenario should be enough to show you you don't replace an integral part of your spine with a player who isn't as good as the one he replaces.

I can't stand him. i don't know what it it, he just offends me every time I look at him/watch him play

Is he better than Gabriel Jesus ?
He's different to Gabriel Jesus.
Bit hard to tell what his level is at the moment, his goalscoring has gone backwards but Juve are playing him out of position and very deep to accommodate Higuain.

Pep common formation is 4-3-3, who do you see him replace ?

Anywhere across the front 3 or possibly as the most advanced of the midfielders, it's not a matter of who he'd replace as I expect to have a core of 16-17 players who all play regularly once Guardiola has the squad in the shape he prefers - a medium sized core of flexible players that can play in different positions instead of 10 starting outfield specialists and a second XI on the bench/in the stands. Dybala wouldn't be my first choice of signing though.

How does Dybala compare to guys like Sane and Gabriel Jesus in terms on speed and work rate?
That's a very difficult one to measure until you see them on the same pitch in terms of speed but I reckon Sané would make him look like he was running through treacle tbh. He's a very good work rate though.

To be fair Sane made Walker look like he was running in treacle, Sane is so quick it's unreal.

Watching him on SS4 now against Napoli.

Some great touches but isn't involved enough and hasn't really made much of an impact.

Lorenzo Insigne on the other hand is having a decent game. Wouldn't fit into our front 3 but he's a quality player.

Diawara, someone we've been linked with, is playing well too and only 19. Great energy and like a young Kante from what I've seen.

After saying this Dybala has won and scored a pen. He wouldn't get them playing for city!!

He has a similar impact on me - diving cheating ****. I'm not sure we need attacking players this summer - keep what we have (that includes Kun) and spend the money at the back, keeper, full backs, centre backs and a new pivot.

yeah I watched the game last night and felt I would be disappointed if we signed him! especially for the numbers being banded about
