Unfortunately I have ITK status on this one, and it very much looks like he's off to the united.

Woodwards flight has been booked to Barca for Monday to tie it all up. Private flight has been pencilled in for Pedro Tues - Weds of next week

to be fair ballague gets his fair share wrong when it comes to transfers so im same as you but my opinion would be to buy pedro for the price quoted hes got 3 years minimum and has something to prove after a few seasons out of favour. he cant stay there he is never going to play over Messi>Neymar>Suarez where as at city he would fancy his chances starting games over navas/nasri.

The Pedro transfer will tell us a lot about where the Rags are currently sat in European football.
If this drags on it becomes apparent that Pedro will only go to them if KDB signs for City, which doesn`t look imminent. Pedro will keep his options open.
 
Are we really in for this guy or is it fabrication on behalf of the media to make the rags look good when he signs for them over ickle city?

is guilleme ballague a rag ? dont see him tweeting especially referring to chelseas interest too
 
Why exactly should we bet more than the clause? We have to convince Pedro, not Barca. If Pedro agrees to join us, we pay the clause and there is nothing Barca can do about it. Absolutley no need for such an action.
 
If we buy Pedro (and maybe KDB) one of Nasri or Navas should be sold. I guess Samir. 5 players for 3 positions sounds fine for me.

Left side: Sterling/Silva/KDB
number 10: Silva/KDB
Right side: Navas/Pedro/KDB

Would be a hell of an attacking line! :-)
 
For me Pedro is an upgrade on Navas but not top, top class.

When i heard United were after him i thought "meh", im not gonna change my opinion now that we are being linked. He could come here and do a job but I dont see him taking us to that all important next level of CL contenders.
 
Plays for one of the top teams in Europe? Yes

Surplus to supply due to better players coming in? Yes

Stock was high in 2011 but not now? Yes

Looking for one last big pay day in career? Yes

Probably get bullied in the premier league? Yes

Ticks all the boxes of a rag signing and not us, hope we pass on this one. If he was any good why would Barca let him go?
