I am not unsympathetic to the manager's situation, but this pre season is/was vital. Not just important, vital. The club is in transition and the season is just a month away.

Tonights game was a fitness exercise nothing more nothing less. He'll watch a rerun if he needs to. We are a compassionate club and letting him go back is the right thing to do. I wish him and his family all the best, anyone who has lost both parents know what suffering he and his family are going through right now.
