Dd anyone spot what kind of book was on his desk in his office?
Someone printed and bound a copy of the Isco thread for him.

You know, thats a fantastic business idea

Re: Pellegrini Interview

I did laugh when he asked the lad about the undersoil heating.

Talk about attention to detail, was he asking how deep he can put "sticks" in? Eg To make goals etc?

I wonder if there will be a video of him meeting the players or at least taking his first training session.

That book was probably a notebook left by Mancini for his successor :P

Re: Pellegrini Interview

Was a good watch if for no other reason than it gave a good insight into lots of departments at the club. It's quite a large scale operation and provides a glimpse into the demands of elite level sport.

Don't know what conclusions you can draw about Pellegrini from this. He doesn't appear egotistical, but like anybody else on their first day at work there was a lot to take in for him.

I think he wanted to know if they could put posts in for a tennis net. He is a big tennis fan.

Re: Pellegrini Interview

Yup, really enjoyed it. He definitely got alot more interested when he was talking about video analysis, training pitches, boot room etc ... which bodes well. The rest of the 'stuff' is just modern day football BS.
