What was he saying about the training pitches - why did he want to know how deep the under soil heating was?

somethin about him wanting to put spikes in it for markers.

But a couple of times he just looked as if he wanted it all over and done with and to get on with the real work. He was most animated around the training ground I felt. And he was totally bored out of his mind in Hugo Boss store!!

That wasn't Marcos Lopes training with John. I'm not sure who it was though?

It might be Pozo.

It was Jose Angel Pozo, yes. Maybe the biggest talent of our academy!

The undersoil heating thing! Lol. The lad didn't have a clue. I like to think Manuel was testing the lad out on his knowledge of the pitches. A classic engineers question. Made me laugh. It's actually 12 inches fwiw.

Hmm, what impressed me the most was the time he took to introduce himself to alot of the staff, and the staff to introduce themselves.

I'm not saying Mancini didn't do this but Pellegrini does for me come across as someone Genuine and willing to listen.

Don't think he enjoyed being filmed whilst he was in town (seemed irritated maybe?)

JG: Small operation in the knee... ...so about 2 months, 2 and a half
MP: 2 more?
JG: Yeah, but I think I'm going to South Africa
MP: You know, I asked about you last year?
JG: I know, I remember yeah, It would have been good but you know, I wasn't ready yet.

Pelle seems keen on him (might have wanted him on loan at Malaga?), but out for 2 months sounds bad!
