Should have left the stadium tour to one of the established guides. I'm sure the guy was nervous but he really didn't have much to say beyond the obvious. A tour should be a little more than informing people what room is behind a clearly marked door.

His finest and most enlightening moment was "Pitch will be like a carpet. Best in premier, probably". WTF, something my 10 year old would say, probably.

Have to agree, don't understand why everyone's frothing at the mouth over what was basically a whistle stop tour of the stadium purely done for the cameras. Nice and flowery enough but it just looked unpolished and a bit do-it-yourself. I'm really trying not to say amateurish knowing I will be pilloried for it, maybe a little inept, shoddy and a bit second rate. Just thought walking him around telling him about things like the walk of fame on his first day and explaining the ground was used for the Commonwealth games 9did he not already know that?) whilst meeting everyone and being introduced in the way he was came across like it was somebody new coming into the office to do a bit of admin and not one of the most important people at the club over the next few years. Think I'd be a bit fucked off with that camera going off every fucking five seconds whilst trying to meet new people as well - BAH HUMBUG!

Very impressed with him so far. Seems to be a very polite and likeable man. Listened intently to all the different levels of employees. Like others mentioned he was most animated at the training ground, seems to me he can't wait to get cracking into the season!

Conversation with Guidetti was great, bodes well.

Re: Inside City 78

I love the city video's, but i think they showed too much of his FIRST visit to the training ground and the stadium, dont think he enjoy's the camera like some other managers, which is not a bad thing.

Cant wait for JG to be fit, good to see him back before usual.....???

I think he says "Best in premier. No problem."

Nah, he said "probably" without doubt
