What a great summer we are having already Blues.....new manager imminent and a proper transfer strategy

Navas & Fernandinho already signed....all we now need is Isco to announced along with pellegrini and then Cavani. That leaves us with possibly a new CB and LB to provide cover

and to boot the weather is fucking glorious : )
Absolutely spot on! As much as I'm looking forward to the new season! I'm just basking in what is starting to look like one of our most important Summers since the takeover and this weather! *Sunglasses on*

Goal are the most trusted source for City info I think outside of MCRJON :P

If we bring in Cavani, Thiago and Isco then I just won't know what to do with myself!

Yeh what happened to Goal? I thought they were worse than the tabloids?!

Goal are ITK!

Posted loads of times last season about goal.

They recruited some really good journalists on retainers to get them stories, and their City source is well connected. They've been getting it right on City for 12-18 months now.

Bored of Pellegrini now. I want a change
At least wait til the first pre-season game, mate. You'll be able to join in with the "Pellegrini OUT" threads then.

And it's my guess that Pellegrini OUT brigade will be the same outers as in the Mancini Out threads.

Another target bites the dust, 2 out of 5 ducks are down.

Anyway again Goal comes out with an exclusive, and what seems to be pretty detailed information.

The Chilean, who has managed Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga, will arrive in the north-west this weekend before taking a tour of the club's training ground on Monday

Manuel Pellegrini will fly into Manchester on Sunday ahead of signing a contract to take over as City's new manager early next week, Goal can reveal.

The Chilean has left Malaga after being identified as City's No.1 candidate to replace Roberto Mancini, who was sacked after the FA Cup final defeat to Wigan.

Pellegrini had kept his counsel as speculation linking him with the Etihad Stadium post grew, but broke ranks in recent weeks to first confirm that he would be leaving the Liga club at the end of the season, before affirming a deal was in place to have talks with the Premier League runners-up.

He will arrive in the north-west this weekend before taking in the club's Carrington training base and meeting key staff on Monday, when he is expected to finally put pen to paper on a deal that will make him the third permament manager to serve under Sheikh Mansour since he became owner in 2008.

Mancini's fourth season in charge was dogged by speculation linking other managers with his post, but the Pellegrini rumours gathered pace on the eve of the FA Cup clash with Wigan and the Italian's departure was confirmed two days after the 1-0 loss at Wembley.

Pellegrini, 50, guided Malaga to the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season despite a summer clear-out and crippling financial irregularities. He went one stage further with Villarreal in 2005-06, and racked up 96 points as Real Madrid boss in 2009-10 only to be beaten to the Liga title by Barcelona and swiftly sacked.

With a new manager all but confirmed, City have already been preparing for next season, having announced the £34 million signature of Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk, while Jesus Navas will be confirmed in the coming days.

The duo represent a third of City's £120m summer shopping list, with a move for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani having stalled over a discrepancy in makeweight Edin Dzeko's value, though the club are still confident of thrashing out a deal.

Isco has indicated that he will join Pellegrini at Eastlands, as revealed by Goal in May, while Thiago Alcantara, who is in action alongside Isco for Spain at the European Under-21 Championship in Israel, and Diego Novaretti complete the list of targets.

Would be a fantastic window.

My spanish isn't very good but I tried

We have played half of this match. We have seen the best they can do. They have already inflicted most damage that they can cause us and we only have adulterated form. We entered with strength and we have seen all they are capable of and it's true, they beat us but it is also true that we shown our worst side. We could not play worse, nervous, untimely, unmarked, the second balls were always lucky we accompanied them. We were afraid, and they looked good but that has passed. Now history is ours. We can not fail our children, our grandparents, our people, to those who have faith in us. It's time to show and prove who we are. From that we made we can not find a better opponent. But still we have not shown that we are even better than them. Being all as one companion are responsible for all those who play and those who replace those who sweat on the field and pray. That's commitment! Outside all are one. In football there are already too many heroes. Many of you yourselves have been at other times in other teams and in their selections. But today the heroes abound, heroes today are useless, today we are one, the experienced and young. Today we will be an example and if we leave with the heart and mind in this match now begin the journey that every player should have. As a path that begins today not all have! Be heroes, legends still want them to be legends! A Win! For you and for these people to Earn!

very good translation!!

Yeah, because that's how it works, isn't it ?

Because someone wants one manager put, they are automatically going to want the next one out.

I applaud your magnificent logic..
