nope, I never rated mancini.

btw pelli HAS signed, we for some reason are keeping it under wraps.

one of the above comments is a lie.
Don't worry about Pelli. He's coming. He agreed it in February.

Yep. Not worried at all. Mancini was effectively sacked in feb so Pelli makes sense.

So Bill, was today worth taking off ??

That dig would carry a little more resonance if DD hadn't been right all along, StHB........unless of course Khaldoon & Co are deluded, clueless, JCL's as well! Which'll it be?! ;)
He wasn't right all along. He was right this season. Last season many people were incorrect especially after playing Arsenal away. I'm included in that group.

By right all along, I meant on this particular topic, this season! Blimey, last year I should think we all got it wrong didn't we? I think I called for Balotelli to be executed after the Arsenal game, and decreed that the title was deader than a pair of dodo's humping in Pompeii farmyard........

And besides I was just stirring. We'll never know what was wrong and what was right. Pellegrini might win nowt, he might win everything. Mancini might have gone on a people skills course and won the lot himself. I just hope we bag Cavani and then play to our potential next season, cos if we do we'll finish top
Agreed on all counts!

Tbf i know dave wanted mourhino
And he also went on record saying it would be idiotic of our top brass to pass up the chance to sign him
Which we did

And that just about sums up DD.

Re: Pellegrini is the new manager (Malaga Newspaper reports) 3.

Odd that the club are holding back on the official announcement. Presumably the deal has been done, seeing as we are in the process of buying players (on the say so of the new manager, I would guess).

I think they are managing the news Jim, rather than letting the news manage us

That's the way i see it.

Chelsea get their day with Jose. Everton with Martinez today and we'll reveal Pellers and the rest on Gollums 1st pre season game.

;)

Re: Pellegrini is the new manager (Malaga Newspaper reports) 3.

You mean sky special see Gollum at work all day with the rags, and at the end, OOhhhh by the way City sign Pellegrini, and five other players :-)

I'm sure it is not on the say so of the new manager, Navas says his deal has been ongoing for 4 months, before they even met Pellegrini.

The new regime is buying players to play a certain way, the new head coach will be expected to mould them into a team, they've said as much a number of times.

Its time people accepted this new way.

I'm sure Pellegrini will be more than happy with the squad he's being given.

There is not a hope in hell that aguero doesnt start the majority of ebery game next year
nobody wants poor Javi in their squad but he's not going anywhere

Re: Pellegrini is the new manager (Malaga Newspaper reports) 3.

He will have been consulted on players and so on but as you say this new team will be built by Txiki and Pellegrini and his successors will coach them.

Arguably a better way to do it, managers know what is expected and can focus on. Means you don't have lunatics like Redknapp and Hughes spending money.
