The likelihood is announcement due tomorrow or Friday.

Although various posters have referenced the 1/7/13 starting date, it has no effect which prevents the Manager/Coach from being involved in taking/making decisions prior to the said registered starting date. As has been mentioned elsewhere on this thread, he will have made his contributions to the discussions about transfer targets and possible moves away.

As is already known, Mourinho and Moyes have been installed. Both have been active regards the planning of the new season having held extensive discussions with club officials and directors. Both of these will be taking a holiday until the end of June and meeting up with the squads when training recommences on 3/7/13. Gollum will need to speak with Shrek and others, Mourinho with Lukaku and others before then.

What's the point of Malaga holding him to his contract until 30th June? He's already told them he's leaving and the season in Spain is over, so what is the point in Malaga keeping him there and paying his wage? It would suit them to ship him out NOW, and he'd hardly miss a few weeks pay when City have chosen him as the next man. Just get him signed up NOW before PSG step in. I mean, AVB? Bloody hell, if he's being considered for that job, then I'm sure Pelle would have a strong shout himself.
 
He can be announced but not unveiled. Is Moyes not in the exact same situation and he has been announced.
