Apropos nothing in particular, seems Laudrup is on the verge of walking out at Swansea. Would absolutely love him to come to City and work as MP's number 2 although it's just never going to happen.

PSG might not be a bad shout for that.

Has definitely crossed my mind although I suspect that it's going to be Laurent Blanc at PSG on a 12 month contract followed by Mr Wenger.

I'd honestly be thrilled if we messed with the media a bit, and didn't even "announce" him or the new signings. Have Kiddo manage the pre-season, all training sessions under wraps, and then...

First pre-match of the season, press is pissing it saying we've got no manager and no new players, and then Pelle and 3-5 signings all walk out of the tunnel and shit all over the media (literally or figuratively, take your pick). Not a chance in hell, but it would be a thing of beauty.

Just imagine the posts if there was no announcement till the first game though. There be warnings and bans being handed out all over the place.
