Rest assured discussions started a long time before Monday!
Yes I missed the word "officially" out Dave, but there would still be the fine detail to go through, and it won't take 2 or 3 minutes. I'm not in the slightest bit worried about it, and I don't understand why so many are. Its only an announcement, its not a big deal to me when they make it.

I,m with you there, everything will be in the bag. The bag will have to be very big..Haaa. It may not come as a surprise to us city fans but to the broader audience european, and worldwide media it will be that way, we increase our appeal and revenue.

Pellegrini is most probably on a well earned holiday I can't understand why some are flapping about an announcement.

Re: Pellegrini is the new manager (Malaga Newspaper reports) 3.

sounds like he will massively improve european performances , but i hope he will realise that draws away at places like west ham and stoke are not enough to win the league here (not to mention everton or sunderland)

The delay matters little if the deal is in the bag.

We're ahead of the game with our transfer activity, we just carry on doing the close-season business. It's not as if the coach has to take a 1st team training session

This...thank you.

Poyet still not been named as manager of Fulham and I do wonder if he will come in as a no.2?

I think any manager worth their salt would never leave a championship managerial job to be a no 2

Did Di Matteo not become AVB's no.2 at Chelsea after being sacked at WBA?

I'm wondering if we will announce the new manager at the same time as a shit load of players. Gives the press more to think about and they're less likely to start asking loaded questions and act the ****.

"Manuel, are you concerned that you have no influence in the clubs transfer policy. The pressure on you must be immense as the club owners have already signed 100 million pounds worth of players with a further 300 million to follow. Surely it's win the champions league or your sacked?

I swear I read that out in that twat James Cooper's voice!

Be much better if he replied that the journalist must be very naïve not to think he had spoken to the club regarding possible transfer targets !!

bit more of a put down.
