I was watching Revista La Liga last night- Joan Laporta was on. He was Barca President from 2002 I think. He basically said Txiki was the brains behind everything- mentioned him and his vision numerous time.

No matter how the sacking, and news has been handled over the past few days, in your eyes, you have to be comfortable that we are in the hands of quality people.

They know what they are doing, so just trust them, and be confident. They know football inside out.

I find people who are criticising Pellegrini, know very little about him and can't get out of the 'he has won nothing' mentality.

Clubs don't strategise like that. Noone knows what will happen to us, Pellegrini, Pep or Bayern over 2 years. Managers don't sign short term deals like that when they can get long ones elsewhere with bigger payoffs. They don't want to be relocating their family for a fixed term.

Exactly. There may have been some kind of informal discussion to the effect that if, a little while down the track, we need a manager and Pep feels he's achieved the main things he wants to at Bayern, we and he may both be interested in him coming here. But it won't be any more than a kite that's been floated at this stage. So much could change that you can't make definite plans so far into the future.

AS in Spain confirming this morning that Pellegrini now set to announce his decision to join Manchester City at press conference in next 24 hrs. Still not officially confirmed though by Malaga FC.

Isco now surely nailed on with odds on him being 1/8 to follow the coach to us.
