Pellegrini: "We know exactly what we are going to do"

De Jong would look pretty outdated in our team now. Besides crunching tackles, De Jong offered little more than Garcia already does. Receive ball, play simple pass, sit behind halfway line. Matuidi would be perfect for our team, but it looks like he'll stay at PSG. But there are others (Luiz Gustavo anyone? £17.5m release clause).

Pellegrini also said Nasri injury won't change his plans for the transfer window, saying "we know exactly what we are going to do."

Ahhh pelle you big teasing bastard

Of course this could mean that we know what we're going to do and what we're going to do is nothing, but I think it hints towards a new signing or two. What you reckon?

De Jong in.....subject to the Milan board agreement (no manager)

Garcia going in part ex maybe

Lescott to Westham on loan

Don't get me wrong, I think we all still love De Jong, but I don't miss him anymore thanks to Fernandinho.

No point buying people in January. Anyone good enough is playing in the CL for other teams. We'll end up just over spending on a mediocre player that wont improve the first team.

I agree. Someone will end up robben us blind!

I'm still surprised he went to Wolfsburg he was huge part of the Bayern team that got to the Champions League final against Chelsea. He would easily have improved Chelsea's,Rags and Spurs midfield. Doubt he would come here knowing he wouldn't get in the first team or he would have just stayed at Bayern.

Don't think it would be right to bring him back but to say he offered little more than Garcia is an insult to the man.
Garcia brings Jack Shit to the team and even though I said we should not bring Nigel back I would still have him over
Garcia any day of the week.
