Pellegrini's next club

Would be nice because that would remove one of City's Bogey teams from the list. Surely Pellers would apply the same "tactics" with them and create a team with no midfield, exposed CB's and bad fullbacks.

You mean like he did at Villareal and Malaga. Haha.

Everton would be a decent club but I suspect he'll have bigger fish to fry.

I don't think Txiki's going with him.

Rumours of Barcelona again.
Also Zenit, obviously Valencia.

I imagine a top job in Italy will open up with someone stepping up to the national side.
AC Milan?

I doubt there'll be a shortage of good jobs for the 'clueless' one.

As far as possible away from Manchester.
I'll personally drive him to the airport after the last game of the season if it will make us be rid of him any quicker.

For a man that has won two trophies with us and reached the CL semis, there are a lot of disrespectful comments on this thread. Short memories......

Already is a failure

Winning the PL this year would have put him on par given what he's had at his disposal and the poor standard of PL 15/16 as a whole
The next few weeks will be make or break for his legacy. Beat Madrid and get to final and finish 3rd in league he will be viewed as a minor hero. Lose a few games and he will be run out of town by most methinks!!

I think he reputation is still pretty good although if we drop out of top 4, it'll be a sour note upon which to leave (that's assuming we go out of CL in the semis)

He's very statesman like - no drama or controversy. That's a huge positive for most clubs. It's only a negative for a few who might interpret that as 'too dull / uninspiring'.
His age might work against him a little bit, but it's not a deal breaker.

I don't think Everton in their current guise is prestigious enough for him, but I would imagine Spurs would interest him is Poch gets snapped up (but I don't think he would interest Spurs).
Spain or Italy look the most likely options.

If he has a pressing desire to stay in the PL, then yes, I suppose Everton would 'do' but I think it would be a pragmatic choice rather than a desirable one.

I wish him well wherever he goes. I think he's done all he could for us, and overall it wasn't that impressive. Probably a 7/10 scorecard. If I had to choose between Mancini or Pellegrini, I'd chose Mancini in a heartbeat.

I think he could stay on in the back ground or on the board he's got 12 months left on his contract so maybe he will just sit around and see

Seeing how this season is in danger of petering out in a depressing fashion thought it might be fun to speculate on Manuel's next club.

He wants to stay here apparently so although Valencia might be available I'll go with

Everton.
What about Celtic? He could nurture Pat Roberts and we could send him up Jack Byrne and the Garcia's to take care of as well. He would have CL football although he could come up against Pep in the qualifiers. A bit chilly up there in December but he should be getting used to the cold weather by now. With Rangers coming back he might have to do a bit of work to win the league. Just saying like!!!

Everton would be a good fit if as he said he wants to stay here, decent players with lots of scope to improve, gaz might not be too pleased though

The Chilean manager is reportedly very concerned about the sporting projects from the interested clubs. Signings, planning and youth levels are all things to be considered by Pellegrini, and according to Super Deporte, these factors make it more difficult for Valencia to convince him.

Seems unlikely.
