However, there will be some very big European clubs interested in him. Valencia, Zenit and Milan just to name a few.

He won't be short of offers but none of them will be at the top level.

He's the favourite for the Everton job but can't see him going there. He's managing in the CL semi-final, so I imagine his sights are higher than Everton

It would.

The likes of Valencia, Milan and Everton are all very good jobs with teams who will have aspirations of CL football.

In another era they would have been title challenging sides. However, whilst very good opportunities, they are still a step down from the elite jobs or jobs where teams will challenge for major honours.

I think that is a spot on reflection of Pellegrini.

Take away his star players and he is not capable of getting a performance from his team even though they are all internationals.
Not a prem club will go anywhere near him.

I can't think that anyone in this country will be thinking that he is the manager they need based on what he has shown over the last two years. Tactically inept, doesn't coach the players, doesn't connect with or excite the fans, has no definable style of play, rewards underperforming players. I give him no credit for our European success either, we were bound to put a run together at some point and it happens to be this year.
