You do revel in being the anti-agenda king.

You seriously don't think that Utd get favorable reporting?

I have rag mates who admit it.
Me too. They are also scared more of City next season than ever before. One even went as far as saying the club will massively regret not going for him, Ancelotti or Heynckes.

It becomes ridiculous when the argument is over who's press conference had the best internet stream, though.

It seems that everything that happens needs to be instantly benchmarked against how it was perceived with them. It becomes petty after a while, and I cannot wait for the actual football to start!

Re: Pellers press confernce

That was very poor from Sky; by my Watch; 4 possibly 5 minutes from start to finish.

I had never really been one of these "Agenda" types previously but the evidence is now clear to see.

Firstly, we had all that outrage when Nani was sent off - wall to wall coverage for a day and a half.

Secondly, the Ferguson departure. We all knew the United fans were half -hearted for Moyes but to a man every "Fan" chosen for interview the day after by Sky outside the Swamp was massively in favour and not one voice of dissent or a single shout for Mourinho.

Now this. Sky and the Media in general are for them and against us.

Re: Pellers press confernce

Agenda loud and clear for all to see.

Fuck Sky,Fuck the rags,Fuck James Cooper, fuck fuck fuck..

Roll on the first derby!

Re: Pellers press confernce

Sky sports have turned the game we all love into a pantomime/soap opera over the last 20 years or so.

Back to Pellers - there is only one place I will judge the guy and that is what the team do, and how they perform on the pitch - that is all that is relevant to me. Most managers use similar sound bites when interviewed (as do players)

Pellegrini Class Act - Fuerza Pellegrini

Just watched the full stream on the mirror site and the guy is a class act. He speaks well and isn't fazed by any questions. He will not be tripped up in future and will speak with elequence and confidence, if this is how he is with his players he will indeed be a good man manager and extract the best from the players he has.

FUERZA PELLEGRINI!!

Re: Pellers press confernce

Speaks very good English, understood the questions put to him and given time he will make his mark with the squad.

Re: Pellegrini Class Act

He's a dose of what we need. A calming, experienced and knowledgeable manager. Managed the biggest and set an all time points total. Managed a minnow and got them into the semis of CL.

Chuffed that we have him and chuffed he gets a crack at a top club to further his C.V and legacy.

Re: Pellegrini Class Act - Fuerza Pellegrini

absolutely agree nip think this he is going to be a breath of fresh air.

It's common sense they play up to the rags because that's their market. Same as the press.
I can see why they do it yes, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

What is more annoying is some people pretending it doesn't go on. Much like the Rooney & RVP elbow Vs the Ade & Balo "stamp" etc.

this. its the most mind boggling thing on this forum. there are even some "blues" that can't see it.

as fucking if.

fucking bang on. there will southend supporters more blue than some on here.

Re: Pellegrini Class Act - Fuerza Pellegrini

At the risk of sounding like I am not giving the guy a chance and am being hypercritical, I disagreed with his comment about that lot.

The most important thing for me is getting the Premier League title back, playing good football and restoring calm and harmony back in the place.

When you say 'more blue', what do you mean exactly?

yeah but every journey starts with the first step. And the first step for us is to get the players back on side and all fighting for a common cause. Mancini was too distant and some of these guys need their hands holding a bit. Pelegrini is clearly good at that.

Im getting a tad excited!!!

Re: Pellers press confernce

Class act. I like his face. He has a good face. A face that is cool.
