Penalty Taker

Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

Think he's very self-effacing, unlike, say, Mahrez. While Kev is the best player at City, he's not the only star player. Wished he was more assertive - he is, to a point, wish he was more so, especially penalties, also free kicks, wish he takes them, especially in his zone, which is on the left facing goal.

Random thought

with free kicks there is often a right and left footer Over the ball to keep goalie and wall guessing, why not have two players before a pen - one just as decoy but they know in advance who will be taking it

Might help confuse the thoughts of the goalie

I think the average conversion rate is around 75%, so a “good” penalty taker would presumably be in the mid to high 80s.
Yes, although most penalty takers stats seem to decline the longer they take them. They either have a bad patch and lose a bit confidence and/or keepers learn to read them better. Gundogan was on 100% before he missed at spurs, but he’d only taken 9. Mario was 100% after 20, but since he first missed his record has been around 80%.

Who is going to be the next one? In case KDB misses the next one?
