Why is no one mentioning the fact that both penalties should have been retaken. Steckelenberg was at least a yard off his line before both penalties were struck and to compound it there were a number of players encroaching into the penalty area. It might seem pedantic, and of course I wouldn't have mentioned it had they been scored, but just apply the f'kin rules!!!

You may be right but we still need to be able to take pens that aren't at a lovely height for a keeper to save.

Fernandinho was Shakhtar's penalty taker. And Gundogan is a really calm taker too. They'd be my choices.

I've never been convinced by Aguero even when he was banging them in, he hasn't got good technique from the spot, same way Tevez didn't.
