it really was an awful penalty. like others have said, milner and tevez wayyyy before dzeko IMO. i was surprised to see so many people praising his performance yesterday, i thought it was pretty lackluster.

Soon as Dzeko stepped up i thought why is he taking it. Sick of the amount of chances we miss.

The second half performance of our strikers wasnt good enough.

Shit as in just randomly fires at the goal with zero finesse, yes.

Shit as in usually misses, no. Ok so he does miss occasionally, and probably too often. But mainly, he does score.

Dzeko should have never taken it.

He never took them at Wolfsburg, he never takes them at NT...and there is a reason why - HE SUCKS AT TAKING PENALTIES.
I've seen him take two in his entire career before yesterday - and missed both.
That's why what happened yesterday (him taking the pen) was really mind-blowing to me.

I knew he'll miss it as soon as he stepped in. Even those that consider Tevez a poor penalty taker - trust me, still higher % than Dzeko. I would have had Milner//Barry/Tevez/Silva before him any day.

And this from his biggest fan. Never successful from the white spot.

No problem with Dzeko wanting to step up and take it, he's a striker all strikers should want to take them. Despite yesterdays piss poor effort i actually thing he would make a pretty tidy penalty taker. Milner should be clear penalty taker if balo or Aguero are not on the pitch though. Tevez is awful at them every single penalty is a poor penalty it's just whether the keeper guesses the right way.

It was dreadful effort penalty yesterday,he near enough put it down the middle of the goal,no problem but if you put it down the middle take some pace off the ball so the keeper cant get his trailing legs to the ball.Its not rocket science.
