People cheering when Bravo caught the ball

There was a bloke (from Bury IIRC) who used to stand near me in the Kippax. Never heard him say a positive comment in the 3 or 4 seasons he stood there. All he could muster most games was "Terrible City".

I think some people just go to moan. They're probably not allowed to moan at home, so City is the only place they can vent. You have to feel sorry for them really ;-)

The truth is it wasn't the Happy Clappers, Tourists or Plastic Blues that cheered when Bravo got the ball. It was the 'real' fans. The 'sick of all the cheese' fans. The boys from the Maine Road days.

And the Express ffs. It is faintly amusing that the newspapers that proclaim the loudest how much better the UK is than the rest of the world are the ones that are most insecure about foreigners being able to enjoy living here!
They're also the ones who desperately want Guardiola to fail, to justify the 'Premier League is the best in the world" bollocks they constantly regurgitate. It's why they start every press conference by asking him how hard/competitive the PL is. It's why the cliched pundits talk about 'row Z' and commitment, tackling, second balls and the like. It's why we must support him, however ridiculous it will seem sometimes because, if he changes English football, as his is plan, it will be hugely beneficial at every level. If he 'fails' and is hounded out, then the English cycle of failure will be likely be repeated in perpetuity, and that will be the biggest tragedy of all.

Defenders do not need to head or tackle in training, just like goalkeepers should not practice saving or catching. Keep the ball for 100% of the game and you get a nil nil and you don't get beat, shooting gives the ball away so don't do that. Genius.

I was watching the Swansea away game in the pub and there was this bloke who spent the whole match slagging Sterling off and he was actually playing quite well. He finally shut up when he scored a great goal but only for 5 minutes. They're the sort of fans we can do without. A few ironic cheers for Bravo is no big deal.

Had a drink last night?

The hysteria from some fans around Bravo is laughable. It tends to happen each time we concede a goal or defenders pass the ball back to him! Chill out ffs!

The very worst of City fans forced Richard Edghill out of this club. I'd suspect problems with Bravo if this continues. Hart was outspoken and, if rumours are to be believed, was a negative influence in the dressing room. Typical spoilt Charles thinking it's all banter.
