Pep/Bayern Watch 2015/16

He didn't exactly have to build a winning team and mentality, though, did he.

Most managers would have struggled this season imo, Robben and Ribery were out nearly all season, Boateng picked up a lengthy. They were also up against a brilliant Dortmund team, Pellegrini would have struggled.

Doesn't have to build it. He gets the team and wins trophies.

How many managers do we see who are incapable of taking good squads and doing nothing with them. There is an art to massaging egos, implementing tactics and taking a team of "stars" to trophies.

Is it easy to keep the mentality and hunger high in a team that has won everything?

He took over a team that has won everything and in the year after that a lot of them have gotten World Champion. The German Dortmund players all had a real bad 14/15 season (partly with overweight like Hummels) whereas the German Bayern players apart from Götze (and that is a different story - he just does not fulfill the hype that was set into him) had very good seasons.

Yes, he has taken over a team that already has a great leading structure and a good dressing room (apart from the mole) - but a new coach always means changes, players get out off favour and others in - but he did not mess it up or interfere.

Pep might have had problems with the medical department (he wants his players to be out of injury yesterday ;) ) and the press (same will happen everywhere) - but I do not think that he had problems with the other structures in the club.

saw a tweet earlier saying he and Arteta will be here at the end of the week to get ready for next season. Preparing before his first paycheck meanwhile Pellers was on the golf course with two games left! The difference!!
