Exactly right, once you cross over the bridge you are in Salford, so it's literally a few yards into Salford where he lives.

If an honorary degree is intended to bestow recognition by an academic institution for a man or woman who has made an immense contribution to a city, then none is more deserving than Pep Guardiola. I had many low points during my studies, and it helped that for much of that time that City were Champions of England.

For most of my life, I gave my support to Manchester City in the bleakest of times, but in the last decade all that love and devotion was returned in spades by Manchester City because of the talent of Guardiola and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the last wonderful decade. It has nourished all of us.

Just seems to have vanished in Manchester the last few years.
Easily a good pint of Boddies was as good as it gets ale wise in Manchesters.
