There are presendential elections at the end of the season. Laporta has had his two terms and Guardiola wants to see who succedes him.

It will be Sandro Rossell and Guardiola will resign.

Story ends.

I'm a bit confused by your post - if you mean Guardiola will resign at the end of the season, then that's far from the end of the story - that's a fantastic opportunity for another club the swoop in and take one of the best youung coaches in the world as their manager. That's a very big story.

If you meant re-sign (as in, sign another contract) then you're absolutley right - and I think this is what will happen. I can't see him leaving Barca with his history at the club.

sorry "re-sign". I can see your confusion!!
A small but important "-".
They are building a very strong Catalan enclave there and Guardiola is an important part of it.

Agreed - he'll wait until he gets assurances from the new president about his control over team affaris, transfers, finance, etc before signing, but its essentially just a formality - he's in a very strong position as the fans would go mental if the new preseident started his tenure by driving Guardiola away from the club. I would be amazed if this wasn't what happened at the end of the season.

Sorry for being pedantic, by the way, I just genuinely wanted to know which re(-)sign you meant

I read in FourFourTwo something along the lines of Pep feeling he achieved so much in his first year that he's almost overachieved too soon, and it's put way too much pressure on him in the next few years. Apparently he doesn't see himself being a manager for years and years to come.

Nope, its fine, when i re(-)read it i could see the confusion.

how can anyone say pep is a good manager Barcelona is his 1st and only job yeah he has won champions league and league and cup titles but so what doesnt make him good he manages BARCELONA for god sake there the best team in the world lets see if he can repeat it this year they lost to RUBIN KAZAN in the champions league at the nou camp u think Mourinho or Fergie would of lost this match if they were in charge of Barce I THINK NOT cant believe some of u would have him in for Hughes CLUELESS IF U ASK ME

Yes please. Not because i think he is a great manager. But because i think he would bring a marvellous coaching infastructure with him. Every single Barcelona team right down to the junior level all have the same footballing philosophy. It's a philosophy that works and it's very good to watch.

I'm 100% sure he will stay there, he has strong links with the club, plus I'm sure Barcelona would love to have a Catalan as their manager.
